The internet isn’t a connected organised mesh of interlinked nodes. It’s more fluid. An undulating, transient, chaos, a throbbing swarm of ideas that all happen at once.
We’re all starlings living in a murmuration. We see the memes we spread, the movements and tribes we cluster into, and the cultures we live out. Nothing stands still and nothing happens in isolation. Patterns overlap and move in waves, sometimes together, sometimes apart.
There are break-aways, and ripples and vortices. It’s a 4D SalvadoreĀ Dali Venn diagram, bound by an ephemeral tension that holds the collective in equilibrium.
